Emma also had a birthday last summer while we were visiting Mimi at her home in FL. Her day was packed with a little more fun than her sisters (post before this). We went to the beach in the morning.
This is a store in Naples called Giggle Moon. We laughed when we saw it because it reminded us of Emma. She is a little giggle box. =)
I do believe one of Emma's favorite presents that day was her lady bug Pillow Pet.
I had to include this very out of focus picture of Libby. She got another bday gift of undies with unicorns on them and she was ecstatic. =)
For lunch we allowed Emma to pick where she wanted to eat.She chose McDonalds! They all were treated to a Happy Meal which we don't buy them very often. ($1 menu is what they usually get to choose from if we go there.)
A big treat that day for all of us was meeting up with some of our "friends for life" the Laney family! Danny grew up with Allison in his home town. They later went (a couple years apart) to the same college and then Allison's husband began attending Southern Seminary so they also moved to Louisville. They are in FL now with a church so it was great to see them. Luke was enamored with Maddie and wanted to hold her hand. She didn't quite know what to think of that. Ha.
