Hi family and friends that actually read this nifty invention called a blog. = ) I am writing to request that you pray for our oldest Miss. M. She has been vomiting on and off for 2 1/2 weeks now. She will go a couple of days and seem fine and then start throwing up again. She has had a couple of incidents like this over the past couple of years but this time seems far worse - more vomiting. Friday night she vomited once in the morning and then after going to bed 4 more times. We finally took her to the emergency room and on the way she threw up at least one or two more times. She was given fluids for dehydration and anti-nausea meds. All the tests and x-rays came back normal except for a urine test. They think she may have a urinary tract infection but we won't know for sure until tomorrow. They put her on an anti-biotic just in case. Last night she threw up three times in the night. We really just want it to end. She laid on the couch all day today. After fighting this for 17 days now she has circles under her eyes and just doesn't look as healthy. She has an appointment with a GI (gastro-intestinal) Dr. the first week of February (the earliest they could get her in) and they will do more in depth testing of her tummy area.
Please pray that her tummy will stop hurting her and that she will be able to eat normally again. Thank you!!

I will definitely be praying. Poor thing....that sounds awful.
Oh, wow. Poor baby. I'll pray right now. I hate feeling helpless when my children are sick!

We will be praying for you over here too . . . way out in CA! AND, Angie, I will be praying for the strength and endurance that is needed for us mommies in such times . . . patience, compassion and lots of laundry! He is a present help in time of need.
