Happy Birthday Miss L.

The new blog header picture is in honor of Miss. L's 4th birthday that was yesterday. I haven't had a chance to download the pictures from the day yet so I picked a picture from when she was about to turn one. We chose a froggy theme for that birthday and took some pictures with a frog for her invitation. My M-i-L put those together and they were adorable. These days we go for the store bought invites. Today was low key but we made the day all about being her special day. She picked what she wanted for breakfast: a special cereal and donuts. After that she got to open her present from our family. She got two pair of flip flops, a tinker bell flashlight, Disney princess sunglasses and some lip gloss (chap-stick). All of these were bought CHEAP, with special thought of her wants and she loved them. Then we went bowling with the children's department at church. Mrs. Vanessa brought Miss. L. a balloon and some candy and she felt pretty special. We took the balloon to Daddy's work to show him. Of course the other instructors and Daddy's students wished her a Happy Birthday. This evening we went out to eat as a family and took along some cupcakes that we made last night and today. Her Papere' was able to join us as he was the only one free on the spur of the moment when we called around. We sang Happy Birthday to her there in the restaurant. She smiled real big like she does. All in all a great 4th birthday for Miss. L.
